And from all the reports I've seen, not a single Slayers anything. Which sucks. I mean, what would have been more awesome than, say, Slayers Nendoroids? Slayers Figma figures? But no, nothing.
I did however spot two things that made me very happy, among other, the first bikini version of an anime figure I have ever approved of ^__^

3 minutes and 33 seconds into the first episode, and I'm already head over heals for it. Yep. And might I add, that this is quite rare for me these days, so I'm pretty much deleriously happy right now ^__^

In other news, life is dull. Boring. Mind-numbing. Yes. The weather sucks, I'm broke (as if that were news), there's nothing interesting going on in town, I still haven't gotten my e-mail to work and I'm so stuck with writing my fanfic that I'm all but loosing my mind entirely.
Even watching anime feels... meh.
But aside from the above, I s'pose everything's alright. Hmm. Yup.

My luck has hit an all-time low, methinks. Last night I stubbed my toes, but didn't give it much thought, because I'm always stubbing my toes on things. A while later however, I realize my foot is covered in something sticky, and I'm all like, er, wut? So I check it out and my poor piddies are covered in blood. I check underneath my chair, and there's an actual pool of blood underneath it. I'd somehow managed to cut open my little toe, AND I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE. How the hell does one NOT notice that there's blood gushing out of ones foot?!
So, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, that was last night. Today, Cheeky decided to vacuum out the computers (it's almost scary how much dust accumulates in the fans O.o), and then, after he'd finished with mine, it didn't start. At all. Completely refuses to boot up. Just stands there, whirring and clicking.  And because the cd-rom is broken, we can't re-install it either. Bah.
So now I'm utterly computer-less. At least until he gets around to installing an OS on the laptop. Or he somehow manages to sweet talk his father into lending us the money for a new one.
Also, with this crash, I have most successfully managed to loose everything I was currently working on (fanfic, drawings, etc)
I am slightly peeved, yes.
Ah well, I shall now continue to bang my head against the nearest wall. Not because it helps, I just need to occupy my mind with something other than utter misery. And I think a mild concussion would probably do the trick. Yes.

Sooo... Haven't written for ages, nor have I replied to comments/commented neither here or anywhere else... Yeah, I really ought to try and catch up on stuff *sighs*
Anyway.... So, what's currently going on in my life? Well, not much, with the exception of being wildly depressed over financial status... Blah. It really isn't easy being an otaku these days. My fingers are itching like mad to bid on stuff on YJP, but since I'm barescraped, or at least pretty damn close, it ain't gonna happen >.<
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE HOWEVER: Annual town festival happening this weekend! Yay! Totally lame but still enjoyable hahaha XD Tomorrow night I'm gonna head down to the town square with cheeky to check out a couple of local talents that seem promising, as well as browsing the ump-teen gazillion market-stalls that show up every year, providing this back-water hick-hole with everything from clothes to jewelery to bootleg anime stuff, in other words, awsome-ness in quantum :D (But I still wish I lived somewhere else like say... Kamloops swkjhfgalksugh Yeas viley , I stalks you XD)
On yet another, completely unrelated note, I haven't been drawing much lately, which sucks. Instead I'm nervously prancing around a barely touched canvas that needs finishing, but blah, I have no inspiration >.< I DID manage to finish my sisters wedding gift, which for some reason she was in awe over, but now I'm working on this huge ass project THAT JUST ISN'T SPEAKING TO ME DX HELP!
I also have some half-finished Slayers fan art projects lying around that need finishing/scanning, but I am getting nowhere. Not to mention my doujinshi projects that never get anywhere because I'm too self-critical. Or my dollie customizations that are at a standstill due to lack of funds (need eyes, wigs and power-tools that I just can't afford atm to finish them. Blah. Why aren't there any hobbies that DON'T cost anything? Er, INTERESTING hobbies I mean ^^;; I'm not really one for say, bird-watching, and such haha)

On a completely unrelated note, redstars , what is this Hetalia Axis Power you speak of so fondly? Is there a Sweden? And how did I miss this? XD

Also, unrelated part 2: Had I a camera, I would totally spam people with the last SMJ shipment I got, because it was positively awesome and a half!

And thank god for that! I was up at 6am this morning, something I usually wouldn't be unless my life depended on it, and I've been up and running all day, which is something I'm definately not used to. Why? Because me and Cheeky, mom, sis in law with all three step-kids in tow as well as my mil (whom I'd really rather not EVER spend any time with at all if possible), had booked two stalls for a fleamarket held by a local sports club.
The good news is, me and cheeky walked away aprox a $100 richer, something neither of us were expecting,  and by selling off a buttload of our stuff, we actually managed to de-clutter the apartment quite a bit ^__^
The bad news is, I managed to have two slight mental breakdowns during the course of the day, which is always annoying, and by now (9:40pm) I'm so stinking tired I'm seriously considering just laying my head down on the keyboard and falling asleep right here and now. But that might be a bad idea, since I sometimes drool in my sleep, and that could lead to short-curc... cuirc... serkut... making the keyboard not work any more. Plus the bed does seem slightly more alluring with it's fluffy softness.
And that's it for now, because I just nodded off sitting up. Yep, off to bed it is....

Aside from the fact that I've been, er... not well these past few months, I don't have any excuses for not updating... Bad me! Bad! *goes to sit in a corner to think about what I've done*

And now, back to the usual nonsense: So, I'm not really into Pullips any more (with exception of the anime collabs and my customs), simply because the world economy has gone down the loo, my personal finances along with it >.< I am however still into bjd's, for the simple reason that if I'm going to shell out my hardearned cash on anything $100 +, it'd better be something worth the effort, and imho, Pullips just aren't anymore *sighs* I'll most likely still invest in the random custom bait to make pretty, but other than that, I'm sticking to my resinites and anime.

I was also lucky enough recently to be found on LJ by a girl who wanted to trade her Slayers and Slayers NEXT dvd boxsets for one of my Pullips, and being such an immense Slayers freak, how  could I possibly say no? Thank's a million redstars babe! (Oh, and they play just fine ^_~)

As for other stuff going on in my life, I've started to draw like a loonatic lately. I haven't got a clue where all the indspiration is coming from, but I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Instead I'm just accepting it and doodling on anything that comes in my way lol

In other news, I am too lazy for my own good. I need to get my webpage up, but I'm getting nowhere. I need to sit down and make some outfits for my Pullips, but I can't motivate myself. I need to finish my commissions for the scrapbooking maniacs, but I'm completely inspiration-less... Blech, I hate winter. I get so damn sluggish.

On a more positive note though: Moon arrived this week, along with my trading cards, and Obo-chans goodie boxes have been the shit, like, for real ^_^ So much Shaman King-y goodness I just about exploded from the happy XD

Cheeky is reading Skip Beat. A Shojou manga. Not only that, but he found it himself. And he's enjoying it. Now that I think about it, he really loved Aishiteruze Baby, which he also found by himself. My, my, my... There may be hope for him yet ^_^

I finally got around to watching it, High School Musical, which, unless you've lived with your head in the loo for the past year or so, everybody's heard about. And god help me.
I like cute, and I like sweet and charming. I don't mind watching kids movies. But this film left me speechless, with a wish of having my short-term memory removed through any kind of violent accident, rather than having to remember this godawful excuse for entertainment.
I cannot for the life of me understand why this abominable thing has become so popular. Has the IQ level of the worlds pre-teen population really sunk to such unfathomably low levels?
Well, at least I quickly figured out why this sorry excuse for a musical has gotten two sequels:
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. And let's face it, Disney for the last decade or so, has become widely known for not knowing when to quit.
Let's just hope, for the sake of the future of this planets intelligence level, that the third one truly is the last one.

Hooe, finally got off the emotianal rollercoaster (I think), so, time for an update!

1. "Juno" is an awsome movie full of win. If it doesn't become a cult-classic, I will be most surprised.

2. The season finale of Slayers REVOLUTION left something to be desired... Hopefully the creators will make up for this with the upcoming half of the series.

3. Mina-tan is the awsome-most person on the planet; That goodie box was a heaven-sent bliss to sort through, sweetie! *smooch*

4. Not exactly sure of how, but I've managed to snag myself a Moon. Yep, the one and only pink-haired, pink-eyed, ridiculously 'spensive Pullip. She doesn't have her stock, and she has been given a "hime" haircut, but I got her for approx $25, so who's complaining? Not I! ^_^

5. The Swedish Postal Services can **** my **** with a **** on the **** in the middle of a ****! (And no, I'm not even sure myself what I just said; use your imagination lol) Why? Because they keep effing up everything they do! (Read: I am sick and tired of recieving complete strangers' mail, and not knowing what has happened to my own!) *gnashes teeth*

6. Autumn toy-fair was awsome; Didn't actually find anything, but Cheeky came home with a Robothech robot, a Transformer and a Darkstalkers Lilith figure ^_^ Yeah it's been a good day.

7. Crap. The utterly adorable teddy-bear Dal is going to be released in February >.< Great, so now I'm gonna have to chose between her and Angry AND Arion for my b-day pressie (Allthough I do have a feeling I'll chose Angry. Unless of course Januarys' Pullip is announced, is totally gorgeous, and makes me want her. Wait, wasn't Neo Noir schedualed for January? Ack, I'm doomed x_x)
